AYFL Youth Football Playoff Schedule Round 1

Playoff time is here for the South Florida Youth Football Leagues. This includes the AYFL, SFYFL and WCFL. To date, the AYFL has posted their playoff schedule which I have included here. Several of the young quarterbacks playing have attended Coach Socha’s Quarterback Camps and will be displaying their skills and abilities on the field. Youth Quarterback Camps

D1 Quarterback Skills Academy

Saturday at Calvary Christian Academy quarterback coach Doug Socha welcomed 33 quarterbacks to his D1 Quarterback Skills Academy. The main goal of the camp according to Socha is to get the prospects excited for spring football which is just around the corner. Socha also went on to say this camp was not for beginners and would cover a wide range of fundamentals at a high intensity tempo. The camp ended with one-on-ones and quarterback challenge.

D1 QB Dominates on Friday Night

Offensive Coordinator, Doug Socha’s powerful offense led by his Quarterback Darrius Millines continues to route thier opponents.  Coach Socha’s offense has scored 165 pionts in the last 3 games. (excerpt below from Sun Sentinel)

“Behind quarterback Darius Millines and a dominant defense American Heritage-Delray continued its resurgence from an 0-3 start by throttling King’s Academy 39-0 in a District 7-1A game on Friday night.

Millines burned the Lions (4-2, 1-2) with his feet and his arm finishing with 166 yards rushing and four touchdowns and completing 6 of 11 passes for 77 yards and another touchdown.” (excerpt from Sun Sentinel)

D1 Challenge Winners Summer 2009

At this  year’s D1 Quarterback Academy camps the instruction and training was awesome. We had some very skilled QBs in attendance.
