D1 Quarterback Stephen Morris Commits to UM

 

(BLACK PR WIRE – Miami) His position is Quarterback. His number is 12. His high school team is the Monsignor Pace Spartans. And his future is very bright. Stephen Morris of Miami Shores, one of Florida’s top rated high school quarterbacks, recently announced his verbal commitment to attend the University of Miami (UM) – beginning the fall of 2010. Before committing to Miami, Morris was offered scholarships to play at Purdue, Virginia, Northwestern, Connecticut, Central Florida, Vanderbilt, Florida International University, and Central Michigan, among others. Coach Socha’s QB commits to West Virginia

American Heritage senior James Potts, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back, has received offers from Vanderbilt, Rutgers and Memphis, but so far the only one of those schools he has visited is Rutgers. Potts’ teammate, QB Darius Millines, recently made a verbal commitment to West Virginia.
